There have been hundreds of books written by different authors, all on the subject of the evidences of divine inspiration of this scripture. Is the Bible true? This is greatest question that many people have asked themselves over a considerable period of time. Many people hold different opinion on this issues. Bibles are mainly used by the Christians and they do firmly believe it is holy as it was written by God himself through his prophets and servants.
Those who do not believe in its validity claim it to be misleading. The Muslims for instance have been the critiques of the scripture since it differs with their version. The Christians on the other hand have a strong faith on the holy book and trust it to be the guide of every human being.

The contents of these two believers varies since there the canonical texts that it comprises varies with each form. There might be addition, deletion or subtraction of words hence the rise of disparities in the arrangement of these books.
The Christian bible has 66 books while the Catholics have 73 books. The believers because of this have thus been questioning on the originality of the holy book. God did not give out a complete book and said it was the scripture but rather left it to his close people to write with his guidance. The writings were later combined in the churches to form a book which was named as the bible and was to be strictly adhered to by those who believe in it. The accuracy of these writings was questioned since human beings are thought to be biased.
When translating the scripture to different languages, there will be distortion of some words or failure to quote exactly the original message and may go to an extent of conveying a wrong message. The versions will thus not be similar because of this.

The civilization of world in music arts, ethics and the law have been majorly influenced by only the scripture. Great thinkers and leaders in the history have affirmed to it hence raising its credibility.
